We spent a day out quad bike riding through the sand dunes in the Swakopmund desert in Namibia. It's sure was alot of fun out there on the bikes. The land scape felt like we where on another planet.

Karijini National Park is an incredible area of hidden gorges and waterfalls in the middle of the Western Australian desert. Reaching the swimming holes is quite literally coming across an oasis in the desert.

Fish River Canyon in Namibia is Africa's largest canyon. The way this canyon winds its way through the desert sure is a sight to see. Just don't get to close to the edge.

Rooftop View on Marrakech

On my travels, I like to visit photography museums when I get the chance. Often, they have interesting exhibitions that bring me inspiration for my own photography, but the photography museum in Marrakech offered another highlight: After I had enjoyed the exhibition on historical photography from Morocco, I arrived at the top of the house where a small staircase leads to the rooftop terrace offering this magnificent view over the city.

The temple of Abydos, Egypt is a great exemple of Egyptian art. All the columns are engraved with grandiose representation of everyday life. We can only imagine how long it took to complete only one column of this place of worship. If today architect would take only a few more hours to come up with intricate details, big city architecture would be less boring.

I was taking a guided tour of Morocco in mid January, 2015. The driver let us stop along the path up in the mid Atlas mountains. Absolutely beautiful, who knew Morocco was so green?
