Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @liltammy:

The Village Memorial Reservation Petrov - Plže. It´s a collection of wine cellars above the village of Petrov. It is located about 4 km southeast of Strážnice and 14 km from Hodonín in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. This unique and and very beautiful complex is one of the oldest buildings of folk architecture in the Czech Republic.

Quiet and deserted streets, which attract to themselves as a magnet in each of the visits to Prague.
As it usually happens in the old districts of Prague, almost all buildings have their own name, which in former times, when there was no numbering of houses, served as the address of a house. And, since there was not a rich people living here, there is a desire to get rich in these names. But photos, of course, can hardly convey the atmosphere and energy of this place, so desolate and attractive, but here it is incredibly cozy.

What a great entry Jul. Well worth featuring today. Thank you so much for your efforts. Tomas

Municipal House ("Obecní Dům" in the Czech language) found in the center of the Silesian city of Opava. Built in the late Baroque architectural style, the house is one of te most important cultural institutions of the city, hosting anything from concerts and exhibitions to balls, congresses, theatre performances etc.

In Prague there are so many interesting architectonic details. In this image I show a corridor that I found quite interesting, it reminds me the movie “Amadeus” of Miloš Forman, which was filmed at Prague. In this movie there is a scene which appears a corridor similar to the photo. I took this photo at Malá Strana.

So i bumped into one of the several cathedrals in Brno city during one of my usual photo tours. Out of curiousity and excitement, i forgot to ask the name of this cathedral; at the time of this shot, there were three old people who were inside praying; they poured out their requests, thanksgiving and reverence to God and i could see the relief on their faces afterwards as they believed their prayers were answered.
A well-decorated alter👐

This building was completed in 1996. With its wavy shapes, sloping pillars and non-aligned windows, this building is original and atypical. It is a bold architecture. The building merges two buildings, one of glass and steel with sensual curves, the other of slightly trapezoidal concrete. The two towers are reminiscent of a pair of intertwined dancers: a curved dancer clings to a man with a hat. Nicknamed Ginger and Fred (after Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers), the dancing house is to be seen. It is also called the drunk house. This building has become one of the emblems of the city.

Corinthia Hotel Prague (formerly the Forum Hotel) is a high-rise building of the 5-star Corinthia Hotels International Hotel chain in Prague Nusle near Prague Congress Center. It was completed in 1988. The building has 26 floors and measures 84 meters and the time of completion was one of the tallest buildings in Prague. The building has 526 rooms and 25 meeting rooms, the largest of which can hold 700 people.

If you are curious, what is the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, the answer is Sněžka. The height of Sněžka is 1603 meters and its also most visited mountain in the Czech Republic, which also helps the cableway. But I would recommend you a walk, because that you can enjoy the Krkonoše mountains and views even more. And it’s healthy too.
This photo was taken right below the top, so you can see how big crowd there might be.
Ahoj!

I know it's a typical one but I've yet to post one with the castle yet and the clouds and everything look quite good in the photo. I cropped the photo at the bottom to get the cars out but maybe I should have left them in.

Saint Barbara's Church is a Roman Catholic church in Kutná Hora in the style of a Cathedral. It is one of the most famous Gothic churches in central Europe and it is a UNESCO world heritage site. It's difficult to appreciate the splendor of the cathedral from close up, and it is almost impossible to capture it in a photo.

Animals, sea, landscape, architecture.. These are the beauties of the world and I got to take all these in our single photograph. As I fed some of these animals, an unusual surge of joy filled my soul. Maybe I would share the photo of feeding them if I'm allowed to

Sure you are. However, it would be also bit more helpful if you do share more precise location for others to know. Thank you.

Yea I would, I was itching to share this photo of me feeding the animals.. I hope it is okay to do that
