Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great Easter weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @kouba01:

Despite the crowd of tourists who lingers to watch the many artists who work on the bridge, the crossing of the Charles Bridge remains an enchantment and can enjoy a magnificent urban panorama. The bridge spans the Vltava / Moldau and links the Old Town and Mala Strana, whose entrances are each marked by beautiful Gothic towers. It was rebuilt under the Emperor Charles IV in 1357 to replace an earlier bridge washed away by a flood. Now pedestrian only, the bridge is decorated with many groups of Baroque statues, including that of St. John Nepomuk on the spot where he was thrown into the river for not having agreed to reveal a secret to the king. Day and night, the walk on the bridge is mesmerizing and not to be missed. Charles Bridge.

Another example of how Prague is full of amazing monuments and beautiful architecture... at least five here in such a small frame - just imagine the bigger picture ;). Somebody think about visiting Czech's capital city?... Don't think, just go there!

Wow! What a stunning image well worth featuring today! Thank you so much! Tomas

My pleasure! Have a good day!

Prague. Monument to Alois Jirásek. Alois Jirasek the author of a voluminous cycle of historical novels depicting the movement of the Hussites, the period of Austrian domination ("darkness") and national revival; created a dramatic series of "Ian Hus", "Jan Zizka", "Psoglavye" and "Jan Rogach." He is also the author of the "Old Czech Legends" written and translated into many languages - the processing (and in some cases his own fiction on motives) of Czech legends for children and youth

The ancient streets are beautiful. Its charm is even in the cracks on the walls. They are rarely straight. And when you go through them the look changes after every bend. Krumlov is small, but due to these small streets you can walk for a long time.
And if you still go to different charismatic shops and bars ...)

This is the castle of Červená Lhota, which is in the middle of a lake on a rocky island, what I loved most about this castle is its Renaissance style, inside there is a collection of historic furniture, statues, paintings striking "Life beyond the limits of time", these were the words used by Zdeněk Kalista, famous historian of Czech art, to describe the unique atmosphere of this wonderful water castle. Here you can walk around the castle appreciating the whole place and you can also rent a boat to be in the lake that surrounds it.

Yesterday I was back in Prague. It was a clear full moon night. In the blue hour I shot this nice picture of the castle from the tripod. i love this golden lights and reflections in the water.

A charm ; we do not know where to turn our heads
The "Little Quarter" is located on the left bank of the Vltava, at the foot of the castle hills and Petrin. It is very pleasant to walk there and admire the hundreds of houses and baroque palaces that adorn it, each with its sculptures and its particular colors. The main artery coming from Charles Bridge is crowded with tourists, but the adjacent streets soon become quieter. Do not miss the Wallenstein Palace Gardens, St. Nicholas Church, Urtba Gardens. Take comfortable shoes because of the cobblestone streets.

Other street in Malá Strana, Hlavní Město Praha,

Lovely picture!

Thanks a lot..

Capture of colorful Prague, seen from Vysehrad. Vltava river, in its 'typical' color, does not ruin the view but enhances it. You will never get enough of Prague even after hundred visits.

Saturday walk in Prague headed me into Grébovka parc, where is this villa of factory owner Mr. Mořic Gröbe from 1881. The Parc was reconstructed in 2014 and there is beautiful view on some Prague districts.
Ahoj!

Speaking of the beautiful Prague, you can not pass by the Old Town Square, which, like in the past, is now the center of the active life of the city. There are always a lot of people on the square. Therefore, life is boiling here with a key. The house in the square is very close to each other, creating a unique ensemble. The Old Town Square is very important for the history of the city, here events that were very significant for Prague and for Czechia in general took place. Through this square was the Royal Route, by which the Czech rulers marched to the Prague Castle before the coronation. Here they executed and mercy.

In my trip to Prague, I have two friends, one from Japan and another from Vietnam. They are student in here, they spent some days to take me around the city and some places in Czech. This is the most attractive architecture building in Prague: The dancing house. The design of this building having idea of dancing couple. That's why we see the architecture combine together of two blocks. In front of the building, two of my friends smile happily. I want to attend this contest to send my many thanks to my two friends.
