Prague/Czech Republic - Friday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @ansharphoto:
Charles Bridge, Prague. I headed to the bridge just as the sun came up, when I knew it was likely to be empty. In the early hours of morning, with the tourists and hawkers still asleep, the bridge is a different place. It’s a place out of time, and as I walked the bridge, looking for the perfect shot, I could hear Prague’s saints and martyrs whispering from a not very distant place. In this ancient city where the past is always close at hand, they seem to want to tell their stories. You only have to stop and listen.

zámek valtice - valtice castle
I think the feeling around the castle was one in millions. And it was a great experience that I had. This day will not be easy to forget in one's memory. I kudos to you all made it at the place.
Aerial view of the streets of Karlin, a Prague neighborhood located close to the city center. You can enjoy this nice view from the National Monument on the top of the Vitkov Hill that is also home to the giant Statue of Jan Zizka, the third largest bronze statue in the world.
View of boats anchored in a harbor at the Bata Channel (Baťův Kanál in the Czech lanuage). Built in 1934, the channel was originally designed for shipping goods but today, it serves as a popular tourist attraction in the South Moravian Region of the country.
Longer exposure shot of a Streetcar moving on past in Prague, Czech Republic. Streetcars make their way up and down one of the main market areas in the city. Clean and efficient transportation around town .

Ungelt - Týn, Entrance gate, Praha 1, Staré Město
Ungelt was a place between 11th and 14th centuries where foreign merchants who arrived in Prague for business were forcibly accommodated. Here they paid the duty for their goods. Here they were protected.
From the 15th century they could already stay where they thought. Still, many preferred the walls and recesses of Ungelt.
Ungelt acquired the present form in the 16th century during the Renaissance.
Charles Bridge at night
Unfortunately, I have never been to the Czech Republic in spring or summer. I happened to come there only in the winter. I think that it would be nice to take a walk on a summer evening in the area of Charles Bridge. And I would like to do a couple of paintings there...
On this photo is Spring Nymphs or Flying Squirrels (originally "Divoženky a Poletuchy") sculpture by Josef Klimeš. This unusual sculpture can be found in Franciscan Garden, a small garden by the Church of Virgin Mary of the Snow between Wenceslas Square and Jungmann Square in Prague.
At present, Karlovy Vary is a well-known health resort in the whole world. Here, not only medicinal springs, the whole resort is a place that brings peace and harmony with oneself. The resort sells special cups with a spout into which you gain water from sources and drink through a spout so as not to damage the tooth enamel.
The resort itself is located in a niche of mountains. From visiting Karlovy Vary, I still have a wonderful feeling from this quiet, secluded place.
I made this shot in prague during the early spring. Fortunately or unfortunately it had rained and the colours also expressed this beautiful blend.
It is indeed a beautifully beautiful view
There is a pleasant place called kampa island in pragues little quarter. And walking down in kampa takes one down the Lennon wall which is art itself
