Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:

Sunrise over Charles Bridge, Prague. (I was worth getting out of bed at 5am to see this :-) It's very old and beautiful magical bridge. If you go there in the morning or in sunrise, there is not so much people as during the day. You can see beautiful view on Vltava river.

Statue of Charles IV King of Bohemia and Emperador of the Holy Roman Empire, under his rule the bridge over the Vltava river (that now bears his name) was built. The statue is located at the east side of the bridge, it was made in 1848 by Ernst Julius Hähnel. The surrounded buildings shows different religious architectonic styles.

Wow, love that image! Wonderful entry to start of today's contest. Well done!

Thank you!

Left side of the White Chateau - a part of the chateau complex in the little Silesian town of Hradec nad Moravici. Known for being a temporary home of Ludwig van Beethoven, the town is located just a few kilometers outside of the city of Opava.

Occupying a total surface area of 36 ha, this is the Peter´s Pond (Petruv Rybnik in the Czech language) - a large pond found just next to the Silesian town of Krnov. Built in the 16th century, the pond is home to numerous species of fish and water birds.

A marvelously preserved medieval castle town
This is a good place to start your walking tour and there is an information centre here and everything is within 10 minutes of this centre, except the castle which is 15 minutes at most. The castle grounds was nice but panoramic view at the tower was breath-taking. if you enjoy the old charm that our wonderful world offers, don't miss Cesky Krumlov!

Vltaba River Prague
The river splits the Prague old town and flowing calmly in between. Many romantic places along the river, a cross the bridge is also recommended to feels another view and perspective, really amazing and beautifull. The one hour cruise was great as it really covered a lot of ground going under the Charles Bridge and good views of the Castle district and many nice buildings along the river.

There are many churches in Brno, but the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul is the most beautiful of them all. It is located on the Petrov hill, and it can be seen from lots of spots all around town. The church is very nice on the inside as well, so if you pay the city a visit, make sure to check out the inside of the cathedral as well!

There is no entrance fee into a cathedral, only in jewelry, towers and the crypt.

While visiting Saints Peter & Paul Cathedral we happened upon a wedding about to begin. The bride told us it was okay to watch the beginning since she didn’t want us to miss out on seeing the cathedral! So gracious!

Beautiful Saint Bartholomew church with 360 degree views of Pilsen and surroundings. The bells have been restored/replaced and can be seen on the way to the tower. An absolutely stunning view of the whole city. While a man falls and swells at the height of all the stairs, it is worth the effort. I've seen plenty of prospects, but this one has gotten my heart.

I loved everything about Krumlov. It is a fairytale village. I could spend a week wondering the street and back alleys taking in breathtaking sights. So much to do in this historical center which sits in the nearly circular bend of the river. If you go up to the Castle. you can get a nice view of the bend as well as seeing the whole historical center.

St. Nicholas Church
what fascinated me in this church '' and that it is not those tourists that tmepo everything. well into hers and passing unnoticed, is a jewel in the charac- ter of the city. with masses of truth that I went but I did not understand anything, but you have the chance to see the local people exercising their faith and not a lot of cameras in the hand. I liked the climate, the decoration and the space.
