Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @liltammy:

Close-up of the Petrin Lookout Tower, a huge steel-framework observation tower that was built on the top of the Petrin Hill in 1891, originally as a transmission tower. These days, the Petrin Tower mainly serves as a tourist attraction with more than a half a million visitors annually. Strongly resembling the iconic Paris landmark Eiffel Tower, the Petrin Tower offers some breathtaking panoramic views of Prague.

Bravo! It has been a while since we have had such an amazing image in the contest. Truly stunning!

View of the Silesian Harta Dam with a 3D model of it in the foreground. Built on the Moravice River in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the country between 1987 and 1997, Silesian Harta is the youngest and most modern dam in the Czech Republic. With a total surface area of 874 ha, it is also the ninth largest dam in the country by area.

Chateau in Libeň, Prague
P1090837.JPG
Today, Liben is part of Prague. But until the 19th century it was a separate village. There was once a fortress that was rebuilt at the end of the 16th century to chateau. The chateau has undergone many modifications - Baroque and especially Rococo. In the Rococo style, the chapel of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was built.
The highlight of the glory was the second half of the 18th century. At that time, Maria Theresia, Joseph II and Leopold II sometimes stayed here. The treaties were concluded and edicts issued here.
But that's all gone. Today wedding ceremonies are the most common here.

I haven't written for a while. But today I am going to be the first one to participate :) if I don't write my comment too long.

The famous red roofs are easily recognisable, right? So you can guess that this is a photo of Prague.

I just loved the pink paint with the red roof, the arched doorway and the rough cobblestones out front. I'm from Seattle and nobody uses pink. Photo was taken summer of '05.

This time I decided to play with editing a bit. I want to learn this skill. When I see beautiful photos I admire the photographer's abilities:) but even if a photo isn't that good a person who knows how to work with different editors can still make it beautiful!
