Javorovy Vrch. This is a photo of me on top of Javorovy mountain, which is in the Beskydy range of peaks on the Salesian part of the Czech Republic and Poland. You can hike up the mountain through beautiful woodland with opportunities to drink fresh mountain water from a spring or melting snow. This is actually very safe to drink! There is a ski slope which doubles as a paragliding strip in the warmer months. I was last there in Spring time when the weather was perfect. You can see Poland and Slovakia from the top, as well as the beautiful rolling Czech landscape. Javorovy is 1032 meters above sea level.

This is the main street of Jewish Quarter in Třebíč called Street of Leopold Pokorný, who was a Czech interbrigadist. Although he is a native of Znojmo, he lived most of his life in Třebíč in the Jewish quarter. In 1937 he managed to leave the Czech Republic and the same year he died in defence of Madrid. The Jewish Quarter is really a place with its own magic!

Here is my entry, thank you! :) Summer in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. On our way to the amazing cathedral in the background of the photo, we passed by this Open Museum of Modern Art and actually spent there a couple of hours. It was amazing and I recommend you visiting it if you travel to this stunning city.

Chateau Třebíč is a national cultural heritage. The chateau was founded by the reconstruction of the original Benedictine monastery during the 16th century. It was then the residence of the owners of the Třebíč estate. Since 2018 the whole complex of the Chateau and the monastery has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
