How to travel like a pro
Those of you who follow my blog will know I have been travelling Europe for the past 2 months. As my travel comes to an end I thought I would shares some tips and insights to make travelling more enjoyable for others.
See the popular sights early in the day
If you really want to enjoy the most popular tourist attractions then I highly recommend getting up early (6 or 7am) to avoid the crowds. After 9 or 10am the most popular spots become packed with tourists taking selfie and huge crowds. Especially if you are a keen photographer then I reccomend going early before your photos are just full of tourists.
Make use of the 'off season' to travel
Summer is holiday season all around Europe and this means places are very busy! Try and plan trips to the less 'touristy' places over summer - there are loads of lovely places to see that aren't jam packed with tourists.
Winter can be a better time to see tourist hot spots like Paris, Berlin, London or Venice as in general there are lots less tourists.
Do your research
We live in the information age, so make use of this tremendous tool we call the internet! Google maps, the culture trip and trip advisor are all great resources for obtaining more information.
Food and drinks can be very hit and miss so we often read up about the best places in the area to avoid disappointment. Sometimes if you are staying in a hotel it can be handy to ask the locals for advice aswell.
Any other tips for making travel easier and more enjoyable would be appreciated!
Explain where you where and what and how.
If you are just posting a picture it might as well be a vacation shot, and not necesssarily something that you want to share. Explain why stuff is cool!
And those early morning shots are truly underestimated actually. When the sun is rising and the countries are at piece, then you see the real peace!
The pictures are just from pixabay. I have loads of pictures but they are all on my laptop.
