Introduction to annapurna base camp trek
Annapurna base camp trek is an amazing walk through landscape & culture with rich mountain, terraced fields, Amazing Gurung villages and a wide variety of floras and faunas. Mt. Annapurna (8091m) of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its base camp, which is at 4130m/13549ft height, is one of the most popular walks on earth. Moreover, we reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) which is revered by the Nepalese for its unique beauty.

The setting of Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 m is incredibly spectacular, set the majestic peaks of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m).
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes 7 to 12 days, depending on itinerary and length of your walking days.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek can easily be done independently. It is possible to do trek in all seasons. In the winter the Base Camp can sometimes be closed due to the heavy snow. In spring time the huge rhododendron forests are in full bloom which gives the trek an extra appeal.

Ohh man brings back memories from when I summited Kilimanjaro last summer. Would LOVE to climb Annapurna, do you have any plans yourself of hitting the summit in the future?
The trip to the base camp is an one of kind experience in its own sense although.
