My trip to Porto

Quite a few pictures - apparently I like taking pictures of food :)

The journey to and from Porto:
Breakfast at the airport

Weather was not bad for flying

Musicians were there playing for us

I like looking around the duty-free area:

On arrival to Porto - time for a walk around the streets

Then a boat trip

Arrive at the hotel

Up to my new room for the week

Then out for food by the river

I was there for work, but the view from the office is quite nice

This is a Portuguese dish called a Francesinha - bread, meat, cheese with an egg and some tasty gravy - served with fries to dip in the gravy when you're done.

Dinner at a restuarant called Abadia (I think Abadia alludes to the fact that it was an Abbey where the pilgrims rested)

They serve great Octopus
