Churches and places of interest
Last time I finished my story about a walk around the city of Romanov on the outskirts of the city.
Then I stood in the old churchyard next to a beautiful temple. In that place there used to be a large graveyard, but in Soviet times the cemetery was devastating.
I went to the other side of the town. I saw another church. The parishioners left the church after the service.
When I photographed this church, I saw a birdhouse next to it. The first time I saw such an amazing design. A high-rise building for birds.
The street led from the church to the city center. I walked along the houses with beautiful platbands.
I was in the center of the city. There are old stone houses.
In the center of the city there was something interesting to see. This is a fire-tower. Interesting construction. Around this house is organized street trade. In addition, there are a lot of small shops. It is interesting that the stores are named by names, probably the proprietress.

The saleswoman in front of the store was not thrilled that I photographed the entrance to the store.
In the center of the city there is still one inverted old building. This is a former salt barn. This barn belonged to Count Stroganov from the end of the 17th century. A stone building with one meter high walls is the oldest surviving building in the city.
Customer - Grigory Stroganov, associate of Peter the Great.
Near the granary is the main square of the city. Here stands the symbol of time - a monument to Lenin.
In the square there was a large temple, but it was destroyed.
And since we started talking about the barns, passing along the street I met another barn, this time a wooden one, and next to it there was a house on which there was one more sign of the time.
Very beautiful wooden houses that are still preserved in small Russian cities. Immediately there live also masters who make such beauty.
Walking around the city, small, only 2-3 kilometers, and so much interesting. The main thing is that it's important to see what's really interesting.
By the way, I did not get to the frescoes in the temples. But, apparently, it is necessary to do one more post.
