Amazing Cat Cafe in St. Pete
I keep sharing our impressions from our trip to wonderful Saint -Petersburg. By chance we visited a fantastic Cat Cafe.
As you know my husband is a beer lover. And my husband's lucky star made us to stay in the hotel right next to the CRAFT BEER SHOP where he got several recommendations about craft beer pubs (I will write about it soon too) . So, on the way to one of the recommended craft beer bars we saw a cat cafe.
It is a nice cafe with wonderful cats. But in the cafe they don't have much food. Although they had Sicilian Cannolis. It was our favourite pastry when we were in Sicily so, of course, we ordered it there too.
That cafe has a room for eating with a souvenirs shop and two halls with cats. Before entering cats rooms they give you a hands sterilizing gel and you need to put on covers on shoes. It is allowed to play with cats if cats don't sleep. But they also ask to be very careful with cats as some of them had very sad experiences in their lives.
The first hall is for cats who have big chances to be adopted and also cats from the Hermitage (I wrote a post about the Hermitage cats).
And there is another room where you can play with the cats

In that cafe you pay your bill for food plus it is recommended to leave some money for cats (recommended amount from 5$ per person).
Fantastic cafe! Highly recommended!

I love cats and I love places full of cats. We have a similar one here where you can sit and have some tea and a slice of cake. It's run by an English lady and the atmosphere is outstanding.
