Gaijin for week. 做个老外一星期

Introduction | 简介

Last year (2016) in April, I was asked to go to Japan for a business trip. It was kind of short notice but it was a trip that was for about a work week. I had never been to Japan before that and it was good there a few other people going together including a Japanese colleague who was based in Singapore.

去年（2016年）4月，我到了日本去出差。 收到通知时算时间很紧了。还好也只不过是一星期六。之前， 我从来没有去过日本，好在有几位同事同行。这还包括一为在新加坡工作的日本同事。

Intercontinental Tokyo Bay | Intercontinental 东京湾

We stayed Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay which was quite a nice hotel. A few of us stayed on the club floor on 21st floor which was nice because you get to go to club on 20th floor for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lunch was out of the question as we were out for work. Anyway, one of my colleague arrived in the late afternoon and checked into our rooms and had a short rest and I took some pictures of the room which I am sharing here.

我们住在东京湾洲际酒店，这是一个不错的酒店。 我们几个人住在21楼的俱乐部楼层，这是很好，因为你去20俱乐部的早餐，午餐和晚餐。 午饭是出了问题，因为我们出去工作。 我的一个同事在下午抵达，然后进房间休息一下并拍下房间的照片在这里分享。

So, you see it was quite a nice room and it has a good view of Tokyo Bay too.

看到吗？房间还很好。窗外还可看见东京湾一美景。

Out for dinner | 去吃晚餐

It was time for dinner and my colleague and I decided to take a train to Tokyo station and see what we could find.

是时间找晚餐了。我和同事决定搭地铁去东京站看看能找到什么。

The exterior of the station appeared to be quite a historical architectural feat.

从地铁站的外观看来，它似乎是一座附有历史性的建筑。

We ended up in a shopping center, Kitte. There was this restaurant with a long queue but we were not in the mood to wait.

我们来到了一座商场， Kitte. 里面有一家餐馆排了一条长龙但我们没有心情等待。

We had a simple dinner and I forgot to take picture of the main course.

吃了个简单的晚餐可是忘了拍主菜的照片。

After dinner, while walking in the shopping center, we found a spot to admire the building of the Tokyo Station from higher floor.

吃过晚餐后，在商场里走着，找到个地方可从高处再欣赏一下东京地铁站的建筑。

On the way back to the hotel, said goodbye to the station.

回酒店前，跟地铁站临别秋波。

Back at the hotel | 回到酒店

Back at the hotel, I had a look at how Tokyo Bay was like in the night.

回到酒店，往外看看东京湾的情景。

There was this vessel berthed at the bay and it wouldn’t be the last I see it.

有一艘船停泊在海湾而这可不是我见他的最后一次。

To be continued | 待续

It was time to get some rest for there would be work to be done the next day.

晚了。该休息了因为明天还有活干。
