Introduction | 简介

Earlier last year (2016), I heard of this Hong Kong cafe that was coming to open in Singapore. They are supposed to have good egg tarts. I tried to go soon after it first opened but there was a long queue and even then the egg tarts were already sold out.

A couple of months later, I still wanted to try the famous egg tarts and got to try them this time probably because they restrict them to dine in only though you could pay $0.50 for a box to take out the egg tarts.
The cafe is located in Centrepoint, Orchard Road, Singapore. That’s the same shopping center as the one where I went to for this dinner: Dinner between Christmas 2016 Shoots 1 and 2

去年年初，我听说这家香港咖啡馆即将在新加坡开业。他们的蛋挞很出名。开业后，我就想去尝试，但外面在排长龙而那时蛋挞已经卖完。
几个月后，我仍然想尝试那闻名的蛋挞，结果如愿以。还好可能是因为他们限制了蛋挞只卖给在哪里用餐的客人。只要在那用餐就可支付$0.50买个盒子，拿走蛋挞。
咖啡馆是在先得坊，乌节路，新加坡。就是我去这里吃晚餐的同一间商场:

There was still a queue and we waited about 20 minutes.

那里已经有好几班人排队。等了差不多20分钟。

Closer to our turn, we could see the egg tarts and the polo bao (buns)

快到我们了。能看见摆在里面的蛋挞和菠萝包。

We also had a fried rice which was ok. Good thing is the drinks was charge at only $1.50 - think that's because we ordered food with it but wasn't told when we ordered before getting seated.
