TODAY IS NATIONAL PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY DAY!

Let’s celebrate PB&J,
on its National Holiday.
It’s simple to make,
no need to bake.
Three ingredients you’ll need
so, on PB&J you can feed.
Some bread, two slices
if you’re indecisive.
Maybe white,
it’s just right.
Some find wheat,
really neat.
Use multi-grain,
if that’s your game.
Give rye,
a try.
Take some peanut butter,
one slice of bread it will cover.
Smooth or crunchy,
whichever you like when hungry.
Next, the jelly you spread
upon the other slice of bread.
Slap the bread together,
the quicker the better.
Now just eat,
this wonderful treat.
