CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISINS
Today it’s chocolate covered raisins,
I’ll be praisin’.
If it’s raisins,
you’re cravin,’
chocolate covered will do,
to satisfy you!
They are sweet,
and a healthy treat.
Measure them up,
a quarter cup,
as part of your R.D.A.
they count as half a fruit, yea!
Listen to your inner voice,
then make a choice,
Milk, dark or white,
chocolate is right!
So, easy to make,
a little time is all it takes.
First the chocolate you melt,
a few steps are left.
Toss raisins in the pot,
A little or a lot.
Place them on a tray,
do it your way,
one at a time,
is just fine,
or by the spoonful,
If you want a mouthful.
Just let them cool,
chocolate covered raisins, rule!
