My Friend Had Never Heard Of Steem
I met up with a good friend yesterday after a long while and we did a lot of catching up.
We started talking about crypto, but my friend had never heard of Steem!
This is the awareness problem we have here. We are currently incorrectly ranked at 71st, whereas we should be in the top 10 of crytpos.

For Steem to rank 71 is obviously not going in my opinion, but I guess it's just in it's early days and we don't have a centralized front that focuses on advertising to give us that impact we'd need when it comes to Mass adoption, have you seen the front of other Cryptocurrency? It's massive. Anyway I'm not surprised if she hasn't, I definitely think Steem Will improve with time. Quality video really, welldone
Yeah, the front is real on some of those other cryptos. Many of them are all marketing and no substance though.
Yeah basically, with our prospect and everything steem is building at a fast pace, imagine if we have that kinda front buddy? However I do believe no Crypto can match Steem in terms of utility, this will be proven with time.
I think there's a balance between having devout faith and confidence in Steem, but also realizing that there are plenty of other cryptos whose communities equally believe they should also be in the top 5 or 10. Marketing can ultimately do so much, but Steem needs a mammoth push to make such strides that I don't sense is on the way for a while. Barely anyone knows about Steem, so your friend is in the company of 99.99% of the world's population, and not an outlier by any means given her interests. We're the outliers. (Math puns.) Nice message though.
It's shocking, but I think you're right. I think because I spend so much time in our Steem bubble I just forget there are normal people out there just living their lives, oblivious to the goodness of Steem :)
I believe we must be in the first 30 ... this is also very strong.
Gradually it would be a surprise to some of us that Steem will top on the table on crpto, i believe 71st is just a number. The on challenge that we have is how to create awareness for more people to patronise in Steem business. As you just said, you did not know that a friend of you have not heard of Steem, this means that we have a long way to go, by intensfying the campaign for mass adoption of Steem. The low prices may be powering down massively and slow joining of newbies. I think this the best time that we have a platform like @threespeak to host a lovely programs that will tend to pull a lot of people to double the number in Steem. I agree, that threespeak has the potential to pull in a lot of users and spread awareness to the audience of the very large influencers that will join.

I get this same answer all time ( I have never heard ) ... when I send some privet text lot in Instagram :)) when I try to communicate directly with a person .
But good thing is half of them begin to explore and get interest immediately after I say what it is and how it works :)
