Midway was an extremely well-documented battle so there would have been much information for movie-makers to draw from. I think though, that Hollywood change history to suit their own needs...It's unfortunate that many people get their historical facts from Hollywood movies...They are often not quite right.
Yes that's very sad. Like the Wild West. I've done several myth-busting posts and people are like "No way, that can't be right!" lol. But anyway, you're sayin you haven't seen Midway yet?

I was totally shocked when I saw my name up there because I didn't do much the whole year. I mean compared to the year before, I think I had a couple of intense months then backed way off.
Yeah, I was up there somewhere. I don't pay too much attention to it, just keep engaging and let the numbers sort themselves out. I think you were at the top weren't you?
That's a good way to look at it. Yeah I was in 1st place which shocked me because I've backed off so much. Next year when he puts that out I'll be lucky to be in the top 5.
I don't think commenting for the sake of making it on a list has any value. Commenting to engage is another story though. I do it because it adds a little depth to my posts and brings some enjoyment along the way. Sure, it's nice to see the numbers summarised but whether I'm on the list or not makes little difference. I know some people get a feeling of enjoyment from seeing their name at the top of a list but in real terms it doesn't mean too much other than being a conversation point.
Yes, I agree, it means almost nothing and I would be doing the same amount regardless of a list. Lots of people are motivated by it though so theoretically it is very good for the blockchain.
