"Just a little rest."

You think to yourself as you close your eyes. The pain drifts away into the distance as you succumb to sleep.

You dream deeply. Your body sinks into the earth. You watch the rocks and dirt and worms flow around you as you sink. You come to rest, gently nestled among the deepest branches of a deep rooted oak. There you see through the dirt is a tiny box, the shape of which would suggest that an engagement ring might be inside. You reach for it and open it. Inside is, indeed, a small ring. No diamond, but a copper band, green as if it'd been left out aboveground for years before finding its way beneath the earth.
