THE 100 DAYS OF STEEM - THE DIARY GAME - DAY 27. Pleasant afternoon with relatives in Rome. July 9th.

There is so much euphoria in the air this morning because we will visit relatives in Rome.
So we went to breakfast, did the housework and then my daughters occupied the bathroom for over an hour to get ready in time and be out in the afternoon.

So we had lunch and wasted time in front of the TV waiting for my husband to return from work and finally be able to go to Rome.

Rome's problem is not so much getting there, because taking the large ring road that surrounds the whole city, you can easily reach every neighborhood. The real problem is finding parking.

However, in the end after a long tour we found a place.
As soon as we opened the car door, a nice kitten came to greet us.

Then looking at the other parked cars we also noticed that some doves were quietly eating on the sidewalk.

And looking even better we realized that the birds were stealing the crunchy that the people of the neighborhood left to the stray cats.
However, where do cats eat but why can't other animal species eat?🤔😜
The important thing is a peaceful coexistence.

Before arriving to our relatives, we take the opportunity of taking a short walk in the main square where the church of Santa Rita da Cascia is located.
It is very large and modern, its peculiarity is the bell tower which inside has real bells as it was once used. For some time, for economic reasons, the parishes of suburban neighborhoods have used the sound of registered bells.
So this church captured my attention, taking me back in time, to old memories when so many things were different from today.

The evening passed in a pleasant way. It's always nice to be in the company of loved ones.
And how could the evening end better?
Go and buy sliced pizza to taste various delicious flavors and share them all together.

My favorite slice of pizza is the one with mozzarella and grilled eggplants in oil.😋
