I would be beside my self if for the final #featuredmember post of 2017, it was not @thedamus. This cool cat has been with us since we first started actually recruiting on Facebook. He's a veteran of #thealliance and deserves the utmost respect from all of you. What makes him so special? I think he loves us just as much as we love him! He was the first stacker to join us too, drawing the attention of several other great quality content creators. Whether he was trying to or not, he has been a key to building what #thealliance is today.

He is one of those Badass Allies you won't find 'begging' for votes. His persistence and consistency on Steemit has made him almost legendary. Huge fan of Bitcoin. In fact, most of his posts revolve around either Bitcoin or - those fabulous precious metals. He's been a very important player in helping the #steemsilvergold community gain more visibility here on Steemit. Like he's built an Ark or something and funneled a bunch of stackers into the Steemit seas. Y'aaaargh!

Your appreciation of the cryptoworld and making Steemit work with a magnificent wonder is a sight to behold. The perseverance you've shown is to be admired and is truly inspiring.
