The jungle is surrounded by the mysteries of suicide!

According to Japan's ancient belief, ghosts of dead people roam in this forest. These ghosts influenced him when a living person came here. It is heard that since the publication of two novels 'Leit' and 'Tower of WebS', a Japanese writer named Seko Matsumoto, in 1960, there has been an increase in the number of suicides among local people. Because, two characters of this novel had committed suicide in the forest for the good wishes of the family and children.

It is believed that in the nineteenth century a strange tradition of 'Ubastu' was observed in this area. According to this tradition, people of their families used to go to the jungles to go away. After this death was theirs. Many people still believe in the locals, here the ghosts of dead old people still roam.

Since 1988, almost 100 people have committed suicide every year in this forest. In 2002, 78 bodies were found in this jungle. In 2003, the number increased to 100. In 2004, the number increased to 108 people. Since then, local administration has stopped publishing the number of dead. But still people go to this forest and commit suicide. And the local administration said that the number is more than 100.
