-----What to do with so many coconuts????

When you think about a coconut,you may think about your last holiday in the tropics,sit at the beach and sip the juice of a coconut and enjoy live...
Have a delicious Thai dinner with coconut milk-cream as ingredients,or one of those yummy deserts.......or just eat the good old chocolate bar called "Bounty"...........or even think of the movie " Monty Python "

None of that,we look at it as a commodity,simple like that....

Three days ago,my brother in law came from Surin to take a full car load of coconuts back to where he lives and sell them for a profit.
For the past 2 days hard work, out in the fields, picking coconuts with a long bamboo-stick and a knife attached on the end.

Bring them back home and sort them out,peel some of it.
There is not enough room in the ute(pick-up).

Finally,it's all done.....the ute is loaded and the tractor is full of organic rubbish...which gonna be used as fertilizer....

The story doesn't end here right now.It goes a little bit further.

My wife will make some coconut milk out of old coconuts(no juice in them)

You grind them with this tool which you can see on the picture,you sit on it,like a little chair.....

Last you need to add a bit of water to the grated coconuts and press them through a sieve.....

The finished product: coconut milk.
It's gonna be a yummy,delicious meal sometimes very soon.....
