Dear Steemitians;

This is my first post as a member and it’s nice to have the opportunity to share my thoughts to the world. I really admire the guys who are behind creating this wonderful site which is helping to bring together people from all over the world with the same interest on different ideas get the opportunity to share their thoughts publicly and be open to any feed-backs.

Recently I find myself wondering how fast our word is changing and how sometimes the change is so subtle that we cannot even notice it, and most of the times the simplest ideas are the one that changes the world as we know it forever. On my 36 years of my time in this world so far, I have the privilege of witnessing a lot of change that our world has experienced some for the good some for the bad. But of all changes technological changes are the one that cross boundary and connects us all.

Recently on 24 December, 2017 I was watching CNN Fareed Zakaria program and he talks to top innovators about “The Next Big Idea” and he was having a guest named Sebastian Thrun that invented a Flying car and Artificial Intelligence experts Andrew McAfee and Erik Brynjolfsson, and a man named Waltter Isaacson who is the author of biographies of Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci and Steve Jobs and he was asking him about where innovation comes from and how perspiration is the secret for successful geniuses and innovators?

At the end of the show I find myself wondering how things are changing so fast and even now when I am writing this somewhere someone might be having great inspiration or idea that can still change our world as we know it. By the looks of it flying cars and all....after ten or fifteen years we will be living in a world that is completely different from what we are currently living in. In just a few years back simple yet big creations like i-tune has changed the record stores, Google for research libraries, , Amazon to book stores, EBay to local stores, Digital cameras (Smart phone cameras) to Kodack, Airbnb to hotel chains and Uber to taxi fleets, Facebook to distance gaps (connecting the world) etc…the list seems infinite.

Another yet great invention that which has filled the trust gap of the world is the creation of Block chain and Digital Currency like Bitcoin. For the first time now people now can buy or sell anything without having to know or trust the other person in a matter of seconds with little or no transaction fee.

I believe every one of us has the capacity to change our world but we just need to find for ourselves what kind of value we can create and serve to the world. Everything starts with the self, so all of us need to look inside and find what really matters to us and how we can share it with the world. So including my self the question is “What are we doing today to make our world a better place to live? Are we conscious of our daily choices and decisions or are we just living by? Are we consciously participating in these subtle yet big changes or just witnessing? Till next time i will leave the answers to you……have a great day!!!
