How IoT will bring change in Future?

Internet of Things (IoT)

Internet of things is the network interconnection between the physical devices (which are embedded with electronics, software, sensors and internet connectivity, etc.) and the internet. Internet of things facilitates IP address to these physical devices to communicate and exchange information with other internet-enabled devices and systems. In more simple words, Internet of things is the network of internet-enabled objects which allows them to collect and exchange data with the help of embedded sensors.
Connected security systems, Electrical appliances, cars, alarms, and speakers, etc. are the objects which fall under the category Internet of things. Traditional gadgets like Laptop, Desktop computers, and smartphone, etc. are some wide range of internet of things which exchange information with other devices over the internet.
With IoT, devices are displaying themselves digitally. With their digital identities, they allow being controlled remotely. So, this real-time data streaming bringing a step closer to relativity and reliability.
This comforting nature of IoT has a huge elaboration in future. There will be more opportunities for direct integration between the physical objects and computer-based systems which will enhance the accuracy, efficiency and economics befit with minimal or no human interfere. According to the estimation of some experts, it is stated that IoT will combine about 30 billion objects by 2020.

Ways in which IoT will bring change in Future

1. The admixture of Blockchain and IoT (Internet of Things)

We are in the early days of another transformative technology putsch. IoT has given the outturn to many human seminal technologies. The blockchain is one of them. It is said that Blockchain will be the most secured, trusty and verified technology of future.
The blockchain is the most important invention since the internet itself. If internet changes the way of transfer information, then blockchain will be more secure, simple and better.
Incessant growing list of lettering (records) called blocks, which are secured and linked using cryptography. A blockchain does serve as an open distributive cartulary which records the transaction between the two parties with efficient, permanent and verifiable way. At the same time, same records are distributed digitally across the many computers as databases in the form of encrypted formats.
The blockchain is the grand invention under IoT, which facilitates the peer- to – peer transaction or end to end transaction without any intermediary. Blockchain conveniently makes it possible to remove all the middlemen when two parties are transacting between each other.
Suppose if we want to purchase the product online, then E-commerce sites play the role of intermediary in between us (buyer) and the seller. These E-commerce sites verify the transactions. For this verification and making the deal secure these e-commerce sites take their commission. The peer-to-peer transaction will provide the accurate value for money to the consumers.
One more example is that; there are many policies and funds are issued by the government for the welfare of poor people of the backward societies. But when the fund reaches into the hands of poor beneficiary it remains negligible in comparison to the original fund released by the government. It all happens due to corruption and the indirect funds transfer by the government. Blockchain technology will be a solution for this by transferring funds directly to the accounts of poor and making the transactions end-to-end. So, in this place Blockchain will play a crucial role in verifying and doing the transaction securely by making the encrypted database on to the network of computers over the internet. And this stored information in the form of encrypted formats is not going to alter or hacked by any hacker because to do so hacker have to hack thousands or millions of computers at the same time and decrypt the information, which is not possible at all.

2. Environmental monitoring with IoT (Internet of Things)

There are comprehensive applications of environmental monitoring with IoT. Some applications of the Environmental Monitoring with IoT are the protection of the environment, weather monitoring, water safety, protection of endangered species and much more. Sensors detect and measure every type of environmental change with making the use of these applications.

3. Infrastructure management with IoT

Giant mileage is going to pump up infrastructure management in future. The key application of the IoT is monitoring and controlling the projects ion the rural and the urban areas. The Internet of Things (IoT) industry is steamrolling. Many industry verticals such as Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare and the Energy sectors are establishing towards the IoT emergence to be digitally connected. IoT’s true value lies in its noxious potential for re-engineering business processes and ultimately rewiring the vocation(enterprise). To gain a greater competitive advantage, enterprises need to convert their IoTs just “seeing and answering” to “doing”.

Farther-Looking enterprises are not much focusing on the sensors and device managements. They are creating new models for business. Enterprises are notching to utilize the power of IoT.

4. Artificial Intelligence with IoT

It is undeniable and proved the fact that the machine learning can tally databases without harnessing the anatomic programming. The automated response will be improved with extraordinary intelligence. AI (Artificial Intelligence) will go more gumptious in future with IoT, it will take information and instruction from our routine knacks and will able to do manual tasks for us.

5. Devices as marketing bandstand with IoT

For the past years, soar of technology in routine life has made online marketing standards. Brands, website, and gadgets tracking our locations and automatically suggesting the product and services. With daily location updates, many of the insurance companies send mails of their policies which are available in our circle or region.
As an instance, you are in any city of the map and using GPS location enabled smartphone with an app (Google map, just dial, etc.). Then this app will automatically suggest which food restaurant or hotel will provide you the best services with the rating from 1-star to 5-star. Here, your device worked as a bandstand or platform of digital marketing.

Conclusion:-

The overall conclusion is that IoT is going to bring automated response revolution. These automated responsive machines will made the transfer of information easy and secure up to a great level of anti-hack. Technology is going on with a great pace, IoT playing a crucial role in that. Go and get the pace and flow with it, to be a part of this tech trend. If you are not updating yourself today with IoT and their dashboard workings, you will not be able to cope up with it in near future.

Nice article, but I would like to say also that IoT will turn down a lot of jobs where people could be substituted with an automated system and on the other side it will opened some new professions on the market. The following problem can be if people are not ready to re-qualify themselves, or they just don't want to have higher education so they could enter those new professions. :)

Really great article. The IoT is really here to stay. Everyday, more and more technology gadgets are made and they fall under this category. I am especially excited about robotics and artificial intelligence. A lot of progress has been made in this area, though there are big obstacles. But with the success already achieved in robotic automation, i believe that in the future, a lot of present-day high-risk jobs would be done by these intelligent machines. Jobs like land mine clearing, nuclear plant jobs, dangerous gas handling in chemical industries, etc.
We will keep our fingers crossed and only hope for the best in IoT.

I wonder how much time is needed for the companies to start considering the real security problems of most IoTs. Hope it will happen soon
