Easy way to find your lost phone with Google !
Have you ever spent hours looking for your lost phone ?
If it's not on silent and someone else is with you who has your number, it could be as easy as them calling it for you, so you can hear where it is.
Many times when you loose your phone it's been left on silent or even worse it's been left somewhere you won't be able to hear it ring.
There is a built in feature in Google which will let you find your phone with relative ease.
Step 1:
Go to www.google.com and type "find my phone"
This box will come up:
Step 2:
Sign into your Google account.
Step 3:
Allow Find My Device to use location data prompt will appear, press allow.
Step 4:
You will be connected to your phone and it will appear on Google maps.
You then have the following options once connected:
Play sound: This will call you phone even if it is on silent.
Lock: Lock your phone if it isn't already.
Erase: Erase all content from the device (phone will no longer be locatable)
Step 5:
Jump up and down because you have found your phone 😂
Please note for this feature to work the following 5 points must be true:
1> Phone must be turned on.
2> Signed in to Google.
3> Connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi
4> Location turned on
5> Find My Device turned on (After you sign in to a Google Account on an Android device, Find My Device is on by default)
Lost Android Wear devices must also be running Android Wear 2.0 and up.
Thanks for listening

Thanks, it really worked out! But it wont work if your phone is dead or run out of battery or someone turned it off. In that case you are screwed :/
