Swiss innovation: startup-companies that will change the world! (Part 2/5)

Hello my fellow Steemians. Recently I read an article about young companies that do have the potential to change the world for the better. So I’ve decided to take a closer look at them and bring it to steem to raise the awareness for these companies! All these companies are based in Switzerland and they show swiss innovation in an impressive way.
In the second part we are going to have a closer look at “Twingtec”
Nowadays no one will deny that we have to change our energy consumption to clean and sustainable energy. Energy gained through wind is a possible solution, but those enormuous wind turbines that often come in entire wind farms cannot be used everywhere.
This is where TwingTec comes into place. The startup company developed the TT100, the world’s first containerized mobile wind energy system. How this works is best shown in this video:

Once the TT100 is high enough above ground, it flies in the wind like a kite. The movements of the rope to which it is attached will produce energy in the container which is attached to the bottom.
The main advantage of this system is, that it is ultra mobile and space efficient compared to wind turbines or solar panels. It can be brought almost anywhere with a truck. So it is suitable for remote locations without their own power supply, making them energy independent. Another possibility might be holiday resorts. The use of the TT100 allows these resort to turn down their Diesel Generators which do produce a lot of noise. The TT100 is completely silent.
Sustainable and green energy is only one step away. ;)
