Folding RAZR will revive in the form of a smartphone!

Motorola Mobility (a subsidiary of Lenovo) wants to revive the legendary RAZR V3. The legendary clamshell update will probably be presented this February. And it's not a joke. Naturally, this will be only a form factor clamshell. Although it is not accurate.

The original RAZR V3 was very popular among fans of the brand, for all the time it has sold 130 million copies. Motorola is trying to revive line of the RAZR, although in 2011 they, together with the Verizon operator, tried to create a new concept - the Droid RAZR. Very controversial, I must say.

As for the new clamshell, practically nothing is yet known, neither what will the design, nor the specific characteristics. It is known only that it will be exclusive for Verizon operator in the USA.

It will cost $ 1,500. And at this price, Lenovo plans to release more than 200,000 smartphones. Optimistic enough. It remains only to wait for official information about this device.

From myself I want to note that I would hardly buy such a device. Although I was a fan of the brand of motorola. Somehow, too obviously, the company wants to earn on nostalgia. At the same time, I very much doubt that this device will cause the same emotions that the good old RAZR V3 used to be.

Although, maybe I'm just getting old, and I can no longer react so brightly to the phones.
