Innovative touch sensitive avatar-robotic arm based on real time haptics
Takahiro Nozaki and acquaintances of the Faculty of Knowledge and Technology and Haptics Research Middle at Keio University or college are suffering from a haptic-based avatar-robot with an over-all Goal Arm that transmits audio, vision, motion, and significantly, highly hypersensitive sense of touch, to a remotely located individual instantly. This is actually the world's first high accuracy tactile force transmitting technology that remembers real human moves, edits them, and reproduces them. Also, this arm will not employ regular touch sensors, therefore so that it is cheaper, smaller sized, and robust regarding malfunction and sound.
