DAY #4 - Meals on Wheels Extreme Ride 4 Hunger 1000km Challenge.
This is day 4 of the Meals on wheels 1000 km cycle challenge. Everyone had a tough time going through the pass and battled through the rain to reach the outreach to deliver the food parcels and toys for the kids in this extremely poor community.
Awareness has been raised as there were local news papers and radio stations taking part and bring the plight of the poor to the forefront of the minds of every South African.
We need to all start being the change we want to see and doing our part no matter how small and insignificant it may seem it does make a difference if everyone play their part. Seeing the joy on the faces of these young children makes you realise just how difficult it is for most South Africans still today, and does inspire one to look more closer at the lifestyles some of us lead with no regard for those who have little to no food to eat.
Please support this worthy cause and do your part, caring is sharing. Go out today and give someone a hand in whatever they may need. We can make a difference.
