Saturday...

A rainy, cooling Saturday...

For any Malaysian, it is a perfect day to slumber and laze around as our tropical country hardly get such prestige weather besides the highlands (Genting, Cameron, Mount Kinabalu, etc...)

But today, it is time to get up, walk, and head off to probably one of the largest Steemit gathering for South East Asia (as I have been told)

I used to take a lot of public transportation during my earlier years in Kuala Lumpur but most of the time I will be drenched with sweat and it will definitely not a pretty sight to see.

However, today was exceptional, and instead of using my usual trusty little car, I have decided for it to take a day off and I walked to the nearest LRT station since our venue, the Big Hug Burger joint is fairly close to SS15.

I have checked out from Google Maps it was really easy to take a train there, and with such cooling weather with slight rain, it was perfect for a good walk.

Moreover according to @chloephuan93 , it was only 5 minutes walk away; however it took longer for us as we had to make a detour for the sake of getting a memory card which I so clumsily left at home.

Oh well, let's see how much cheers of upvotes and comments I can get and if that will cover the cost of my memory card.

Anyways.

@chloephuan93 was kind enough to wait for me to go together in case this mother lost her way.

It was a good ride though. I have never ridden this line ever since it was built. Most of the time my LRT rides are towards the Kuala Lumpur city center instead.

Ahem. Back to Steemit Gathering Malaysia

 

I didn't really get to take much photos for the day as my D90 was quite manja (whiny) today. That serves when you hardly use your camera anymore.

But there were still some good shots to share.

Candid shots are always my favourite. You can actually feel the mood of the people there when they are in their least expected moment.

During the talks briefing the updates, I can't help thinking @bitrocker2020 was like the singer at a joint where everyone were busy eating and listening.

Kidding. Kidding...

 

The fact is that the whole crowd were actually very attentive to his updates about #teammalaysia to everyone.

But poor @awesomianist had to eat his burger standing up...

It was overall a very fruitful gathering. Meeting the faces behind the usernames; and they finally knows who is the one with the light saber in the discord.

Oh wait! I forgot the main highlight of why we chose that location

Finally, for all who have been waiting to see how the famous Big Hug Burger looked like up close!

With any angle you still notice it looks really good. (or maybe my D90 just love the macro settings).
I ordered the lamb grilled burger and I like the fact that the patty is not too dry and it is still tender enough; plus it works very well keeping my body warm during such a cold day, and will continue to do so sustaining warmth in me tomorrow on a super cold stage.

Well, that's all folks, a fruitful day ended.
