7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #9 - the absolute winner takes 150 SBD!
Hello fellow steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Australia. I am also adding a New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other steemians to which continent will NZ go to.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

If you happen to come to New Zealand, make sure to visit Abel Tasman National Park on the Northern end of the Southern Island. Pristine nature and great walk alongside a lot of water activities will spoil you that much you never want to leave again. This shot was taken kayaking and stopping at some beautiful little beach cove

New Zealand is one of my favorite travel destinations. The mountain peaks to north-east of Lake Tekapo were still cover with snow and you could see the reflections in the water. We were lucky to visit NZ right before the busy season at the end of November.

View of the Sydney Harbor bridge from the area near Opera house where you can see plenty of these white pigeons gazing at the bridge - perhaps ;)
I thought it will be good to shoot a lone pigeon with a slight bokeh effect so here it is.
What a great capture!
Bryon Bay have some of the best views in NSW. You can visit the Byron Bay lighthouse and enjoy the great ocean views when you walk down the designated trail path for visitors. Just remember to visit on a clear day as there is no shelter and of course you will miss out on photo oppportunities like this!

Today I want to show you one picture from my holiday in New Zealand. It was made on the South Island, with my old Minolta Dynax 500si film SLR camere. Later I digitized the slide with my CrystalScan 7200……...no frame today :-)

This one is taken at a farm where I work picking fruit, I give you the raw picture is not from an expensive camera or have been thru photoshop but just from my phone, hope the moment count as much as the technique.

A Big swell is coming
They predicted a big swell for the Sunshine Coast here in Australia. So I went for a little walk yesterday afternoon and shot this photo from Coolum Beach. Seems like the Waves are getting bigger already.
