Victory day - Día de la victoria - Tag des Sieges
Although in general I like to share in #tbt very old photos, today I bring a photo from three years ago, but that is very significant for me.
By that time I was starting my musical project "Russia with Latin Feeling" and started, after a long time, to resume relations with the Russian community in Venezuela.

The 9th of May is a very important date for the Russians, because that day there was the end of what the Soviets called the Great Patriotic War and what we know as the Second World War. That meant the end of fascism and the brake on one of the bloodiest political projects in history, in which nearly 60 million people of all nationalities lost their lives and a third, that is, 20 million were Soviet. In fact, there is not a single Russian who has not lost a family member in that conflict.
For that reason, year after year the Russians commemorate that date, because they consider that in order to avoid repeating such a terrible history it is necessary to remember it permanently.
Three years ago, when I joined the Club of Russian Venezuelan Traditions, the first activity we had was the celebration of that date, which was a very emotional act that reconnected me with my European education and experiences.

Aunque en general me gusta compartir en #tbt fotos muy viejas, hoy traigo una foto de hace tres años, pero que es muy significativa para mí.
Para ese momento yo estaba empezando mi proyecto musical "Rusia con Sentimiento Latino" y empecé, después de mucho tiempo, a retomar relaciones con la comunidad rusa en Venezuela.
El día 9 de mayo es una fecha muy importante para los rusos, pues ese día se produjo el fin de los que los soviéticos llamaban la Gran Guerra Patria y que nosotros llamamos la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Eso significó el fin del fascismo y el freno a uno de los proyectos políticos más sangrientos de la historia, en el cual perdieron la vida cerca de 60 millones de personas de todas las nacionalidades y una tercera parte, es decir 20 millones eran soviéticos. De hecho, no hay un solo ruso que no haya perdido a algún familiar en ese conflicto.
Por esa razón, año tras año los rusos conmemoran esa fecha, pues ellos consideran que para que no se vuelva a repetir una historia tan terrible es necesario recordarla permanentemente.
Hace tres años, cuando me incorporé al Club de Tradiciones Ruso Venezolanas, la primera actividad que tuvimos fue la celebración de dicha fecha, lo cual fue un acto muy emotivo que me volvió a conectar con mi formaci´on y mis vivencias europeas.

Obwohl ich mag generell in #tbt alte Fotos zu teilen, bringe ich heute ein Foto von vor drei Jahren, aber eins das für mich sehr wichtig ist.
Zu dieser Zeit begann ich mein musikalisches Projekt "Russland mit Latin Gefühl" und begann nach langer Zeit, die Beziehungen zur russischen Gemeinschaft in Venezuela wieder aufzunehmen.
Der 9. Mai ist ein sehr wichtiges Datum für die Russen, denn an diesem Tag endete das, was die Sowjets den Großen Vaterländischen Krieg nannten und das, was wir als Zweiten Weltkrieg kennen. Das bedeutete das Ende des Faschismus und das Bremsen eines der blutigsten politischen Projekte der Geschichte, bei dem fast 60 Millionen Menschen aller Nationalitäten ums Leben kamen und ein drittes, das heißt 20 Millionen, Sowjets waren. In der Tat gibt es keinen einzigen Russen, der in diesem Konflikt kein Familienmitglied verloren hat.
Aus diesem Grund erinnern sich die Russen Jahr für Jahr an dieses Datum, weil sie der Meinung sind, dass eine dauerhafte Erinnerung an dieses schreckliche Ereignis erforderlich ist um so etwas ähnliches in der Zukunft zu verhindern.
Als ich vor drei Jahren dem Club der russischen venezolanischen Traditionen beitrat, war die erste Aktivität, die wir hatten, die Feier dieses Datums. Dies war ein sehr emotionaler Akt, der mich mit meiner europäischen Ausbildung und Erfahrungen in Verbindung brachte.

La segunda guerra mundial caló profundamente en ellos, no solo por las pérdidas humanas, sino también por todos los sacrificios que tuvieron que hacer para resistir.
