La Guireñita (Joropo) - Los Cañoneros [English-Español-Deutsch]
To continue with the repertoire, in the order that was on the album, today it would be the turn of the song "La gallineta", however I discovered that I do not have a digital version of that song. So I promise to get it and place it in the future in this space. So I move to song 5 on the "A" side, the last one on that side.
It is a joropo of the great musician Francisco Carreño, a person who was a promoter of Venezuelan culture and composer of more than 400 songs, including waltzes, merengues, pasajes and joropos.
The title of La Güireñita, is in reference to a young lady from the town of Güiria, in Sucre state. This song became an icon in the performances of Los Cañoneros, by the force that it had live, until getting to earn the name of "the rock of Güiria".

Para proseguir con el repertorio, en el orden que estaba en el disco, hoy le correspondería el turno a la canción "La gallineta", sin embargo descubrí, que no tengo una versión en digital de esa canción. Así que me comprometo a conseguirla y colocarla en el futuro en este espacio. Así que paso a la canción 5 del lado "A", la última de ese lado.
Se trata de un joropo del gran músico Francisco Carreño, persona que fue un promotor de la cultura venezolana y compositor de más de 400 canciones, entre valses, merengues, pasajes y joropos.
El título de La Güireñita, es en referencia a una joven dama de la población de Güiria, en el estado Sucre. Esta canción se convirtió en un ícono en las presentaciones de Los Cañoneros, por la fuerza que tenía en vivo, hasta llegar a ganarse el nombre de "el rock de Güiria".
