Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
~ Matthew 22:17-21 KJV

"Tribute" in this case means a "tax", or the money with which the "tax" is paid.

So, was the money in question Caesar's? Probably not. It would be very unlikely for it to have been.

First of all, government-- "Caesar"-- possesses nothing it didn't either steal or buy with stolen or counterfeited money. Even the money it prints, mints, and programs into existence. The metals, the mints, the printing presses, and the computers were ill-gotten. A thief doesn't own the stolen property he possesses. The money paid to the employees involved in creating the physical and virtual money is in the same category. Does the thief own something he makes from stolen materials with stolen tools? Obviously not, or property rights mean nothing.

The money isn't Caesar's property and isn't owed to him.

Even if the money did originally belong to Caesar, once he trades it for a product or service it is no longer his, no matter whose picture is on it. If I paint a self-portrait and sell it for $10, the portrait no longer belongs to me. I can't just go and take it and holler "Taxed!" and be in the right. It is no longer my property even if my picture is on it.

So, yeah, if you possess something which legitimately belongs to government (or anyone), give it back. It's not yours. Render it unto its rightful owner. But "tax" money isn't government's. "Taxation" is still, and always will be, theft. "Taxation" is never ethical. No "law" can change that.

Yes sir i agree with you why should i pay tax sir where my money is misused by politicians.

·

Because the law requires it. We are required to follow the law unless it conflicts with God's laws.

Thou shalt not steal. Taxation is theft.

Thou shalt not murder. Governments murder. Taxation funds government murder.

Even Ceasar's computers are stolen? Probably. So was jebus wrong when he said render onto Ceasar the things which are Ceasar's?

·

Jesus was pointing out two things:

  1. He alludes to David's psalm that states, "he earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it..."

  2. He points out the hypocrisy of Pharisees carrying a graven image of a pagan god, the deified Roman Emperor.

He did all of this without openly stating that taxes were not owed, because that would have earned the death penalty from the Romans who couldn't tolerate objections to theft any better than the IRS does today, yet He also rebuked the Pharisees while pointing out the truth to His audience.

I am curious, have you read the Talmud of Jmmanuel?

I think he said that directly to taunt the Pharisees, and render onto god lol.

Well, as I pointed out, it wasn't Caesar's money.
And, yes, obviously the computers and everything possessed by government are either stolen or bought with stolen or counterfeited money. Everything.

Unless it was a Public Trust that some benefactor donated.

·

Didn't they ban some gold coins or something a while back? I seem to remember hearing something about that.

I am agree with you @dullhawk

cant undertstand why government behaves like this, need to change all these things sir.

No, taxation isn't theft. It sounds like you're trying to justify tax evasion or cheating on your taxes.

·

Taxation: A demand for property under threat and duress, without any contract or other voluntary agreement to the exchange.

There is no "social contract," and there is no agent/principal relationship between even those who voted for the winners in any election, so government certainly does not represent the general populace.

There is nothing whatsoever immoral about evading a violation of your natural rights to life, liberty, or property. There is no obligation to inform a burglar with an itemized list of your property.

·

Can you explain to me exactly how it differs from acts you acknowledge as theft?

Yes sir this govt should work in favour of people but that is not happening right now.

·

Government cannot "work in favor of the people." Democracy is a false god, and representation is a myth. Governments usurp the natural rights of the people they claim to serve as a necessary aspect of their operation, and their operation consists primarily of theft and murder.
