Why you should always pick a tattoo you like.

I wanted to show my nightmare tattoo in the hope some people will read and learn from this. I've had this tattoo since I was 15 and totally regret ever getting it done, it's about 6" tall and 4" at it's widest point.

The tattoo was once all black but I attemped to remove myself at home (note the white patches)
I hate the tattoo so much i burnt my arm to try to remove it a few years ago (looking back totally crazy Idea) and yes it hurt like hell so never attempt that either!

Here goes for the photos, Please don't be to harsh with me as I am already beating myself up about this and have been for years.

I added a photo with my steemit name next to my tatty tattoo so you guys know this is a genuine story.

So please please take your time picking a tattoo you really want and never attempt to diy remove!

Its summer again and I am Really self-conscious about wearing a t-shirt so the time has come to get it covered up :)

To be fare anything would look better than this but I'm scared about endding up with an even bigger mess on my arm with a cover up, I'm going to have to do some real research to find a high quality uk tattoo artist. I will keep you guys updated and any ideas on what would be possible to cover it up would be appreciated. I understand it's limited due to the shape.

Please never rush into getting a tattoo like i did :)

Hmm... how about you keeping an eye on the tattoo exhibitions in your city, or around. Before that, we work on the design together and document it here on steemit. Then at the exhibition, when we deliver the tattoo on your body, providing an amazing cover, that will be quite an event. What do you think?

Thanks for your kind reply buddy, Yeah it is meant to be a ninja but he's not looking to cool :/ I am from the uk and would love to meet up to see what you could do with it, Are you from the UK? I think it would make a great event and I can't wait to post some new photos once it's covered up. I like your style and be over the moon if we could do this. Sorry about the delay, I had a message about my tattoo yesterday and a tattoo artist on here said it was not possible to fix and this made me feel down for the day, I understand it's not an easy fix but do you think it could be fixed or made to look better? Hahaha I know it! Let's still keep it a ninja if we can make it possible, here my clients call me tattoo doctor. I am form China and UK always have tattoo exhibitions. There will be the chance to make that happen if you help us. Visiting UK was also a plan for us, w just are not sure when exactly can it happen. If we are all good, please keep an eye on upcoming exhibitions. Where in UK, by the way?

I can relate to this post. When I turned 18, I went out with my best friend at the time and got a couple small tattoos. I didn't put enough thought into what I'd want on my body permanently. I also have the "white patches", haha. But not from burning. I tried the strategy of rubbing it off with a wet cloth covered in salt.

I'm also thinking about getting cover ups (have for years now), but it's also a scary thought because the times I've gotten tattoos haven't ended in positive results for me.

Thanks for your reply <3 Lets hope we can both get them fixed and it work out for the best :) Feel free to post a photo of your tattoo but I totally understand if you don't want to, It took some balls for me to show mine but wanted to warn other not to do as I did. These are the only photos I've ever taken of it and I never show it to anyone.
