Food Trip in Lucky Chinatown Walk
Hello Tasteemers!
Few days ago, I came across @tasteem's introduction about this interesting project. I got excited and tagged one of my favorite travel buddies @bluesapphire06 to try this out. We're very much a food lover, and we really set a big chunk in our budget for our tummy whenever we travel. When I saw @tasteem's blog, I immediately thought - "This is for us!" Haha.
@howtostartablog's #dailyfoodphotography contest was our favorite. Sadly, it already ended. I miss it so much! Huhu. But with the birth of @tasteem, we can now have a place in the virtual world to express our passionate relationship with FOOD!
My entry for "The Palatable Beauty of Chinese Cuisine" are these street food noodles from Lucky Chinatown Walk.
It was my first time to visit one of the oldest chinatowns in the world, and I hope it wasn't the last because this place is definitely worth visiting over over again if you're inlove with food.
It was like a food festival (I think this is a food festival! Hahaha)! We were already drooling and panicking, we don't even know what to try first.
Look at that, what a beautiful view. Haha.
Seafood Shabu at $3
But this place is not only about noodles, you'll have a lot of options that you'll find yourself wishing you have a bigger space in you stomach to accommodate all of them.
Here are the photos I took during our walk to this piece of heaven in Binondo.
Ready? In 3... 2... 1...
Pizza. Huhuhu.
Anyone who can identify this food?
Shawarma spotted!
My very first ever Dynamite Lumpia experience.
Prepare your antihistamines!
Mainit na kanin plus maanghang na suka (at 1 extra rice) please.
These are yummy ball-shaped Japanese snack called Takoyaki. I tried it, and I kinda like it more with rice. Haha.
Something from Vigan
Syempre, eto pa ba mawawala? Haha
At ang aking all time favorite - ISAW.
(Dear Colon, please stay strong.)
I hope you enjoyed this virtual food trip! Don't worry we were also just imagining how all of them tastes like. We just went around and took photos. We can't try everything because our itinerary doesn't include trip to comfort rooms. Haha.
As a proof that we really enjoyed this place, here's a photo of my friends having their foodgasm moment:
(They're gonna kill me for this! Hahahaha)
Plus the mandatory group picture. Haha.
All photos are mine, captured using my Canon 1100D with a 50mm Yongnuo lens. I did some little enhancements with lights and colors using the default iPhone photo editor.
Thanks for reading! Share your food experiences in Tasteem as well.
