Tarot Tuesday weekly reading for September 17th 2019

Happy Tarot Tuesday! Welcome to another one of my free weekly tarot card readings - I started doing these readings monthly back in late 2015, and switched to weekly ones in early 2016. They are by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. This reading today is for the week of September 17th 2019.

Since my readings are a little different than some other readers on other social media (although it's by no means original - I was actually inspired by a couple other WordPress bloggers), here's a quick rundown on how this works...

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

After you've decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Oh, and don't be worried if you don't happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I should also mention...

Now, it's time to get started with your reading for the week of September 17th 2019. Here are the backs of the cards for this week (and for the record yes, it's a new picture each week). Take a moment to focus. When you're ready, look at the photo to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. After that, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

1. Three of Wands

Expand your horizons. You've done the preliminary leg work, and soon you will see the fruits of your labors. However, now that you've taken those steps, don't assume this is it – there could still be other opportunities out there. Take a moment to look at the bigger picture. Keep an open mind, stay aware, and be confident. It's time to, "Take your passion/And make it happen!"

Tarot Tidbit: The Three of Wands was seen, in the third position, just a few weeks ago, on August 27th, 2019. It also showed up in July on the 16th, in the second position.

2. Seven of Pentacles

Just a little patience. You’re frustrated. You’ve spent a great deal of time and energy on a project/lifestyle change/person, and haven’t seen any results yet. You’ve planted the seed, watered it, given it fertilizer. Now comes the hard part – waiting. Be patient and let the earth, sun, and time do their growing thing, and you’ll see results soon enough. Take a tip from Axel, who said, "All we need is just a little patience."

Tarot Tidbit: The Seven of Pentacles was last seen, also in the second position, back in the spring, on March 12th, 2019.

3. King of Swords

Cut to the chase. You’re smart. No one knows more about this situation, and how to fix it, than yourself. You know what the solution is, and you’re just the person to make it work. One caution – while you’re right to feel proud of what you’re about to accomplish, make sure you don’t accidentally step on any toes. Don't fall for the classic blunder of being like Vizzini, instead, ask yourself, "WWWD (What Would Westley Do?)" Soon enough, you'll have everything, "as you wish."

Tarot Tidbit: The King of Swords was last seen, also in the third position, back in the spring, on March 12th, 2019.

Extra Tarot Tidbit: I noticed as I was putting this together that we had a case of card buddies (a term I made up for cards that previously showed up in readings together). The Seven of Pentacles and the King of Swords were both last seen on March 12th, 2019, in the same positions they are in today. I'm not sure if that holds any significance for anyone, but I wanted to mention it just in case.
