Happy Tarot Tuesday! Here’s your free reading for the week of May 14 2019

Happy Tarot Tuesday & welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday readings! This one is for the week of May 14 2019. If this is the first time you've dropped by one of my Tarot Tuesday posts, it goes a little something like this -

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

After you've decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Oh, and don't be worried if you don't happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

Time to get started! Here's a photo of the backs of the cards for this week. Oh, and yes, for the record, I do take a new one for each reading (because some people have asked if it's always the same shot). Take a moment to focus, then look at the photo to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. When you're ready, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

 

Next, to ensure you don't see the photo of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I'm using a picture as a kind of spacer/spoiler prevention. With the Full Flower Blue Moon arriving on Saturday, I thought it would be a good time to share this one again. I originally made this quoto back in November 2018, with a shot I'd taken in 2017.

 

 

Now it's time for the big reveal. Here's the photo of the front of the cards...

...and my interpretations/message for each card is...

1. Knight of Pentacles

Keep your focus. You were so excited and full of energy when you took the first step on your new journey. Now you feel like you've lost your steam, and all you're doing is trudging along, without getting any closer to your goal. Don't give up hope! Stick to your plan, stay focused on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and remember what Amelia Earhart said - "The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity."

Tarot Tidbit: The Knight of Pentacles was last seen at the beginning of the year, in the third position, on January 15th, 2019.

2. Ace of Swords

Time for challenges. You've had an "AHA!" moment. Now is the moment to pick up the sword, and cut the deadwood out of your life. It might not be easy to face the truth, but you're up for the task, and you know what needs to be done. As Buffy said to all the potential slayers, "So here's the part where you make a choice: What if you could have that power now? ...make your choice. Are you ready to be strong?"

Tarot Tidbit: The Ace of Swords hasn't been seen since last summer, when it was in the third position, on July 10th, 2018.

3. Knight of Swords

Charge it! You're ready to run full tilt in a direction, and there's nothing, or nobody, who can stop you. You have the passion and the drive to make things better, and you are ready to face any obstacles in your way. Just be careful that, in your haste to get to your destination, you don't accidentally trample people in your path. Focus, awareness, and a little preparation to go with your enthusiasm will help ensure success. And the reason I said, "Charge it"? Every time I see this card, that's the first thing to pop in my head (thanks, Wilma and Betty!).

Tarot Tidbit: The Knight of Swords hasn't been seen in over a year, when it was in the first position, on January 2nd, 2018.
