A otro tiempo y lugar

Entrar en esa cocina del castillo, llena de turistas con cámaras, pantalones cortos…..

Ver todas las cosas colgando…

Cerré los ojos y el aroma y el ruido de los criados cocinando, lleno mi cabeza, lo vi, lo sentí, lo olí:

Todos trabajando acompasados, limpiando las Liebres, asando el Jabalí, corzos y pichones.
Pelando tubérculos, para los guisos.
Sintiendo los aromas de las cacerolas al fuego, hirviendo lentamente, subiendo el rico aroma por toda la estancia, recorriendo cada rincón de la cocina.
Colgado por todas partes las nutritivas cebollas y ajos.
Repartiéndose el espacio con Las hierbas aromáticas: Albahaca, tomillo, salvia, hierba buena, perejil, romero.
Los cereales en sus cestos, el trigo y la cebada en sus haces.
Entonces comprendí, que no era un aroma, sino un éxtasis de olores.
Disfrute de esta cocina, que me trasporto a otro tiempó y lugar.

I closed my eyes and the smell and noise of the servants cooking, I filled my head, I saw it, I felt it, I smelled it:
All working rhythmically, cleaning the hares, roasting the boar, roe deer and pigeons.
Peeling tubers, for stews.
Feeling the aromas of the pots on the fire, boiling slowly, raising the rich aroma throughout the room, going through every corner of the kitchen.
Hanging all over the nutritious onions and garlic.
Spread the space with aromatic herbs: basil, thyme, sage, good grass, parsley, rosemary.
The cereals in their baskets, the wheat and the barley in their bundles.
Then I understood that it was not an aroma, but an ecstasy of smells.
Enjoy this kitchen, which transported me to another time and place
