Africa: The Home of Talented

Philip Emeageali an African man invented the fastest computer ever known, when it comes to medicine,it history is traced back to Africa. Africa a home with great craftsmanship, penmanship, great and talented singers. Out of nothing we made something, we aren't all classic but we used our immediate resources to create wonders and satisfaction to our ends. Even in our skin ,our strength is shown. Our lands are blessed, we hold useful natural resources, Among us the best is always found.

As a child my grandmother told me beautiful tales of her, how even in slavery she survived, how United we were, how our intellect guided us rightly and how Africa fought for this future.

We were suppose to be high like the eagle, we were meant to excel, where did our strength go?

But then what Happened?

Along the way, we started to underestimate our gifted talents , we started to nurture the believe of I can't , our parental development started to suppress who we truly are, we ended up believing we are inferior, we lost hold of what we really want , we settled for average, we became slaves in our prison.

Along the line , political greed sets in, our youth were denied the privilege of practicing what they studied, the same old people remained in the office when the world is evolving and needs the initiation of new information.

Along the line, we hated risk, we wanted to play it safe forgetting the fact that our past hero fought even when the risk was high, we hated failure even when failure is a means to learn what could and could not work.

We practiced
-science without humanity
-wealth without work
-politics without principles

We were supposed to be our brothers keeper, we were supposed to serve humanity through our services, we were suppose to create impact.

Arise oh Africa, we have slept too long, Arise and take hold of our heritage, Arise and create the change the world awaits

We are talented , if any could do it, we could do it and only us Africans could do it better.
