Welcome to The Curators first post for 2018...

You know, living a sustainable ecofriendly lifestyle, is a dream come true. And a big goal for a lot of people. And many have turned their dream into reality. Dreams like living off the land, working with their hands, learning new skills. Such as wild crafting. Raising chickens, etc... And how to be able to achieve their goals within their means. Now, with the help of the Steemit Platform and community. It is more achievable than ever to reach these goals.

Of course going into this way of living, can come with some learning curves. And they may be quite scary for some people. Causing them to hesitate. Or perhaps never start to live there dreams. Out of their fear. But with this, the Steemit community can come to the rescue. Fortunately Steemit is full of people blogging with knowledge. All happily sharing about things such as homesteading, living off the grid, how to obtain everything you need on a budget, growing or foraging for edible plants and herbs. They can offer help to those who may be stumped about the best house to build for their particular needs. Such as a house, of Cob,, Hemp.or an Eco dome. Or maybe an Adobe or Earthship construction. They can help answer questions about the land where someone may wish to build. Even if on a shoe string buget. No need to be afraid. Steemit is full of wonderful people that will willingly offer their amazing knowledge and experiences. All you need do is reach out to them.

Now, here is something many may not have thought of. And is a brilliant idea. Have you ever considered bartering? It may be thought of as an old transactional system.

Yet, it is a truly timeless system. And still widely used today. So even if you have almost no budget. The bartering system can come to the rescue. And no worries. As there are many people on Steemit willing to barter in some type of exchange. In ways to help both parties giving and receiving. Although, sometimes it may feel like is easier said than done. Thankfully we have great people with brilliant ideas. Such as @coyoteom and @notconvinced. Who noticed that there were a few gaps in the Steemit eco system. We needed a solution for people to interact and share or offer their skills to those in need. To be able to create some type of bartering agreement. Where they can trade a skill or service in exchange for something that they need. This can allow people to achieve their dreams without worry of a hefty price tag.
