Curator - #ISSUE 1
Welcome to Curator, Issue One
Wanting this to be a Steemit magazine were posts get put into each issue that are knowledgeable, great content but that might not get seen as much as other content.
There is massive talent here on Steemit, where you can read great posts that can give you alot of knowledge on many subjects where you can interact with the writers and find more posts on similar or same subjects with different ways of doing things, opions, that may entice or guide you to try or improve a skill or interact with questions or knowledge.
With this being the first issue, already had some formatting issues so the issue was delayed by three days, meaning that some of the posts will be older than 7 days.
With everything new there are teething issues, this issue will be a bumper issue with many subjects in one post, the next posts may be dedicated to one subject per post show casing 5-10 posts, not surer is it will be done daily, or every few days or Monday to Friday, would be great to get some feedback on this.
Why a magazine, Why not - it's a great way for readers looking for great content on certain subjects to have a range of great posts all in one place that could introduce them to the Steemit Community, where people that do newsletters or add posts to other social media sites can post one post with loads more posts inside that will help the Steemit Community at the same time, introducing people to Steemit, plus helping bloggers get their content out their a bit more where it may be missed, with being over 250,000 accounts already on Steemit there are many ways to get your content seen, this is another way, we go looking for undervalued content.

A featured post will get some extra attention like the picture above did, thought it was quite fitting for the post

Unfortunately this is one of the posts that went pasted the 7 days while sorting out formatting issues.
With doing a great fitting picture plus the post is so worthy of a feature post, that is why it was chosen in the first place as a feature post.
A young artist @miss.dara came across one of Steemits Lifestyle bloggers @sweetsssj and decided to draw a portrait of her.
Taking 4.5 hours to draw, captured in a 3min 14 second youtube video of the process of drawing sweetsssj.

Wow sadly I need to finish this post, wanted to add way more, but if I don't push post it wont be out for another day, So thinking doing only one subject in one post, maybe just doing 5 - 10 posts in that one post, depending on how fast I get at coding, & formatting.

You are really doing The Curator! Love it.
Awesome, will lay it out like that, the pictures are clickable to the original posts, may need to add that in the posts. Had a few names, wasn't surer to put the in front of it or just the steem sign, The Curator does sound better or thinking Steemit Curator.
Both your kids posts were on the list to be put in this issue, thinking of doing a kids one, but not surer if there should be separate ones for kids and teens or put them all together.

I did not know those pictures were clickable. I have run across a few posts like that and I always forget to check. The name is a hard one. I like The Curator better. I just wonder how many people will actually make the connection. We are a smarter platform than that, right?

The bottom ones on the side where clickable, I tried putting the code in the other ones, but it didn't work for some reason. We'll go with The Curator then, was having the fb movie in my head when thinking of using the or not. I think those on the platform will get it, but those that aren't may not, but that will come in time.
The kids posts are great, I'm smiling when reading and watching the videos what they are up to. Yeah maybe not at the moment, the other option was in the subjects doing a few posts of the kids and teens as well, will need to go thru and find all there tags, or might just mix them in the post, not surer at the moment all a learning curb.
I'm really looking forward to this because the search is always on for great content.
I do try to listen to the Steemit Talk Podcast to find interesting content that may go under the radar.

and there are great post w/c are being neglected by many, i hate to see when a POST has a non-sense CONTENT but gain a lot of UPVOTE.. so if that would be the case, what is the essence of creating VALUABLE story/Tutorials and many informative BLOG when it is not weighted that much

That's one reason, why to do the magazine, we go find great content that doesn't get seen.
I hope you weren't having a dig at me, as this is the first time that any of my posts in 1 year have got to that much in value.
I don't know how to code, or do much but trying to do something helpful, to help others that do write great content, that doesn't have the traction, these whales are humans too and some of them are really nice caring people that want to help but don't have the time!
Whales have set up rooms to help get posts noticed also, they work hard on Steemit.
I'm sorry if you think I write a non-sense content it took over three days to do, some people just aren't good at somethings and really try there best, some suffer confidence issues, this whale up voting me made me cry because it wasn't just about money!
If it's not a dig but a general observation, I'm sorry, I do agree but also that's what's great about Steemit everyone has a opion and see's things differently what we see are great content other's may not, it's finding a base that thinks like you do in some ways or enjoy's your topics.

Thank you, sorry man just seeing two sides, we can't see how much work one does and what their capability's are. It sucks when we know how much work we have put in then see something that took a few seconds to throw up get more, I truly get it.
There are minnow support groups on discord for getting your content seen, for me The Curator is humans actually going and finding posts that may have fallen between the cracks, we can't do them all but it will take time to get it in to full swing while we go thru the teething process.

I've learned a lot from you. Having my work seen I still find a bit challenging. I take to the writing side of things, but it's much more than that. I published a high quality well received Travel Report on Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It got up-voted to the travel trail, but is still having a slow time being seen. I like how you resteem quality work, if you think it's worthy that would be awesome.
With all the post and traffic on steemit now, I'm starting to think us humans can't keep up with the technology. It's really incredible after living the simple life in Ecuador and other parts of the world.

If posts are having an issue now with just over 250,000 accounts whats going to happen at 1-2 or more million, having something that may help do two things, grow Steemit and help content creators which in turn helps everyone holding Steem I see that with The Curator.
I'm seeing that Steemit is a community that you don't just get involved in on the Steemit platforms but also in discord, steemit chat and other platforms that some of the Steemit community may hang out, as you may leave a comment that someone may connect with, they may check out your account on steemit.
All we can do is keep steeming, keep your chin up, it will all come together.
I don't think us humans can keep up with technology either, but we will give it a good try.

Thanks, with Steemit there is less to do when you do your own website, but still there's things to do and learn, it's all a learning curb.
Their certainly is a learning curb. I'm getting better and more organized with how I'm going about things on here. Thanks again for your insights!
