hi @jocrazy! All the sunsets an sunrise pictures are taken in Austria. The first 3 pictures are taken from the top of the Rinnenspitze ( 3000m or 9842 feet). The last two were shot in Austrias Nationalpark "Gesäuse" from the top of the Admonter Kalbling.
Well done...love the red in the first photo and the second to last photo with the depth...can you tell me more about this shot? Would love to know the story as you look like you are so high up!
thank you @soulsavers! the first one was taken at 5:45 in the morning after a 4:30 h hike to the top of the rinnenspitze in austria. this tour was a insiders tip from some locals but now you can find a few reviews online about this route. it was my seconds mountain around 3000 meters. it wasn´t really easy but it was definitely worth every footstep! we (my girlfriend an i) had some hadlamps, a lot of warm clothes and a big bottle of hot tea for this summit! picture 2 and 3 were taken on the way back but also early in the morning around 6 or 6:30 when the sun hits into the other part of the are. that was so awesome! the last 2 pictures were taken before me and some friends had a very cold night on top of the admonter kalbling in austria. that was our first night under just with a sleeping bag and a lot of gear on a mountain but this was worth it too!
