I posted this image on instagram, exactly one year ago " OMG! This is one of those sunsets in Austria with Radiohead's   "Lotus Flower" in my mind......

I have so many images from the most incredible sunset & rises in Indonesia but today I show you what I found on my first trip back to my country, one day of my past 3 years travels, I named " Der Weg ist das Ziel". 

 

Surya (also known as Aditya) is the Hindu God of the Sun. 

He is considered the creator of the universe and the source of all life. He is the supreme soul who brings light and warmth to the world. A solar deity (also sun god or sun goddess) is a sky deity who represents the Sun, or an aspect of it, usually by its perceived power and strength. Solar deities and sun worship can be found throughout most of recorded history in various forms. - Source 

The Sun, or Surya in Sanskrit, is responsible for giving light and energy so that all things can grow and prosper. In Jyotish, the Sun represents father and masculine energy. His attributes are like the king and he shares rank and position, power and authority, as well as respect and ruler-ship. The Sun will give us our dharma, the proper path to follow for our enlightenment. Traditionally, the father is supposed to help guide the child on their path of dharma. It is the father who is responsible for instilling self-esteem and ultimately gives the spark of life via his sperm.- Source

I was riding towards my little home village Gmuend in Lower Austria, which I didn't visit for such a long time and couldn't believe what breathtaking sunset guided my way, back to my birthplace, where I spent most of my childhood school holidays at my Grandparents sweet little house. 

The Sun is responsible for illuminating the moon and all other planets.

There's an empty space inside my heart and all I want is a the sun and the moon on a stick:)
