You can see here photos of plants that open their beauty just flies in honor.

Of course, flower is always a seducer. They are deceiving flies just to be fertilized and imitate the look and / or smell of rotten meat.
And as the flowers always do, always seducing with beauty. In this case, that beauty was created by imitating rotten meat!
It seems impossible, sounds impossible, but it looks as far as possible. Seducers always find their way, even when it comes to flies.
These are the first flowers and fruits of stapeliads this spring.
They started their show too.😊
Huernia macrocarpa
Each year Huernia macrocarpa creates seed pods that will open at some point and fly with the first wind. Unless I catch them before. 😊

Those seed pods are stuning! I thought they were flower buds (first look then read syndrome).
Some stapeliads have big flower, and some are with really small one. H. macrocarpa has small flower but big seed pods :)
