Sublime Sunday- Tale Of The Veil
My submission for #sublimesunday initiated by @c0ff33a is all about a long wedding veil and Meghan’s Canadian connection.
Yesterday I took photos from the telly when Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in St. George Chapel in Windsor Castle, England.
I was fascinated by the length of the wedding veil and the children holding the end of it.
At first the children seem a bit puzzled by the veil after Meghan exits from the car. Jessica, wife of Canadian TV show, eTalk, Ben Mulroney, is helping smooth out the veil.
The young twin boys holding the bottom of her veil are the grandsons of a former Prime Mininister of Canada, Brian Mulroney.
The boys have a good hold on the veil as Meghan makes her way to Prince Charles . He escorts her the rest of the way to the alter.
The young children following the veil are Meghan’s bridesmaids and page boys. Along with Prince William’s George and Charlotte is four yr. old Ivy Mulroney ( sister to the twin boys).
There seems to be a problem with who’s holding the end of the veil. Is anyone?
The tail of the veil is forgotten as Meghan gazes longingly at her prince.
Meghan's silk cady wedding gown was designed by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller.
The diamond filigree crown-like tiara on her head was made for Queen Mary in 1919. It was loaned to Meghan by Her Majesty, making a beautiful tiara/veil combo to frame her face.
Although born in the U.S.A., Meghan spend a lot of time in Toronto, Canada when she was in the TV series, Suits.
As a Canadian, I like to think the beautiful bride, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, belongs a little bit to Canada. It was her second home.

I didn't watch the wedding, so I appreciate your snapshots and commentary.
hahaha
Your welcome @bananamemos. . A love match. This is the look on Harry’s face when he first saw her coming up the isle.

They do look to be very happy together. :-)
I didn't get to see much of the wedding, but I've been seeing a few pics here and there. Didn't see most of these, so thanks for sharing them. The tiara is beautiful. I wish I had a queen to loan me one on my wedding day. ;) Ha!
You’re welcome @apanamamama. It would be nice to have some of those jewels from Her Majesty but then we’d have to have the wardrobe to go with them and then the dinner parties.😂 😃
A true fairy tale!!!
I loved every bit of the wedding!
It was beautiful!
We know how to do an understated subtle event in Britain don't we? There were quite a few articles about the dress designer who is British but I think works for a French fashion house - forget the particulars.
I didn't watch myself, been quite busy of late - so this is a great way to catch up on what happened. Definitely a #SublimeSunday thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much Rob. It was a splendid event With thousands of people waiting outside for days to catch a glimpse of the Royals.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the wedding on the telly. Meghan starred in the TV series, ‘Suits’. She had an apartment in Toronto, Canada while the show was being filmed. I had watched most episodes.
