On the Move In Malibu ~ A Sublime Sunday Post
After dropping my wife at work yesterday, I headed down Highway 1 to Malibu. I hoped to take more beach shots with intentional camera movement, which is my interest right now. I'm trying for the look of a painting and having some of the images printed to canvas. And there's the issue...I had a dirty sensor.
Every single image has been coming out with black dots. I have my camera set to clean the sensor every time I turn it on and off, but that wasn't enough. I used the "clean now" feature and still, black dots. I finally had to take the camera to a shop for a $50 cleaning. I think the dots are gone now, but for these images I had to use the clone tool.
I'm posting these images, which are a bit "sublime" in my eye, for #SublimeSunday, the tag created by @c0ff33a for just that purpose.

Stunning photos, that intentional blur does give a painting style look. Loving the blues of fair weather too, it’s all grey in the UK at the moment. !COFFEEA

@tipu curate
That’s called cropping and cloning. I assure you that there were black dots everywhere ;-)

Thanks! I really appreciate the exposure and vote.
These are great!
I get so many dirt spots when we get a strong offshore wind down at the beach lol
These spots have been on every picture. I finally got a squeeze air blower and tried to blow dust off the sensor, but without fixing it. Fifty bucks later and several tries by the tech at the camera store and I hope my problem is gone. At f/36 with a bright sky there is still one tiny dot that might be damage to the sensor but really shouldn't show up in photos.
