Welcome to #SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️
First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
This was actually when I was visiting York in June, it's not been so sunny today although yesterday was - only I spent most of the time mowing the lawn and trying to fix the fuel line on the petrol strimmer - my botch didn't work though so I had to order a new hose instead.
So for today's slightly dull grey Sunday I took my boy Swimming instead, the car park is pretty full so it looks like a Sunday afternoon swim is popular.
The pool building itself is below the car park, they dug the hill out flat hence these big wire cages of stone. Anyway swimming isn't any good photography, but I do have a good story from our trip. We paid for our swim, there are two pools a small training one and a bigger main pool - the lady did not specify which we should use just that the pool closed at 4pm just over an hours time. So we got changed and headed to the main pool which seemed to be running a fun day. There was a giant inflatable obstacle course in the middle to clamber over from one side to the other. Loads of balls and flotation devices - some so big you could climb on to and sit on them (if you are kid sized). So we had a blast messing with all the pool toys and larking around, although I was starting to notice that everyone else in the pool seemed to know each other, and predominately there was a large group of boys around 12 years old that were making up the bulk with random others that could be siblings. Finally it dawned on me this was a special event for a football team we had gatecrashed! Anyway nobody said anything at they all got kicked out at 3.30pm so we just wandered through the locker rooms to the other pool we should have been in all the time to finish our session until 4pm.
Middle of the car park - this isn't dangerous at all, the football team and parents have already left!
The pool is right next door to the Police Station, that is very clever planning because nobody will be stealing the pool water overnight now.
The clouds cleared a little when we got to my Dad's to cook Sunday Lunch, so I grabbed this shot from the old favourite upstairs window.
I tried to get creative with the shadows from the sunlight, feel free to apply your own 'c' based words to describe it.
And a #FunkyEdit of dad's back garden from earlier in the year.
I'm determined to keep up with all the #SublimeSunday posters this week after failing the last two weeks with one thing or another. I have already started to upvote and rested them so I can't loose track of them - and will catch up with comments later in the week. Fingers crossed this week goes smoothly.

The part about stealing pool water sure sounds kind of weird to me.
Yes well us British are quite well known for being eccentric, they stop us using hose pipes here as well!

Thank you very much, I had no idea linking the police station and the pool would generate so much discussion. Stranger things have happened then stealing pool water, most of them over the last few weeks on this blockchain!

Thank you very much, it is an interesting area I live in. Not exciting though. It has been very spirited on here since HF20 , I never realised how many experts on everything there was. Give it another week and it will be "isn't this so much better now then it used to be". To be fair I went through Trending at the weekend at it had good quality posts in it that I enjoyed reading and knew many of the authors of - no that is an improvement!
yes it's just that i'm very impatient and most minnows don't have the luxury to wait 😌
clearly, over time this platform will improve. but i also think the longer we hold out on decentralization from steemit inc, we're gonna pay bigger prices in the future.
but anyways i like how your town looks. seems quite nice and calm. it's an atmosphere that i rare get to experience in my place 😃

Any Sunday spent with your child at the pool and then visiting your father can only be a sublime one. I try to imagine how the policemen keep the water in the pool!
