Esta fotografía fue tomada durante un recorrido a pié realizado a principios del año pasado, por el casco histórico de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, que incluía, entre otros atractivos, la Plaza Bolívar, la Alcaldía del Municipio Iribarren, y la antigua casa de Eustoquio Gómez, hoy en día, sede de la Corporación de Turismo de Barquisimeto CORTUBAR, el Centro de Historia Larense y la Concha Acústica. Esta convocatoria, tuvo su origen en una iniciativa de un grupo de fotógrafos de la ciudad, en conjunto con la desaparecida Dirección de Cultura de la Alcaldía de Iribarren.

This photograph was taken during a walking tour made at the beginning of last year, through the historic center of the city of Barquisimeto, which included, among other attractions, the Bolivar Square, the Mayor's Office of the Iribarren Municipality, and the old house of Eustoquio Gómez , nowadays, headquarters of the Tourism Corporation of Barquisimeto CORTUBAR, the Larense History Center and the Acoustic Shell.
